FAQ

Who do you teach?

Hannah's lessons are designed for teens, adults and retirees. The studio is an inclusive space for all skill and experience levels, and Hannah finds true joy in being a part of someone's vocal journey - whether they're a total beginner or a seasoned pro. Hannah believes everyone can (and should) sing!

Where are the lessons?

Lessons are conducted from Hannah's apartment in Dutton Park, with convenient access to public transport and free visitor parking. The full address will be provided upon booking your first lesson.

What should I bring/wear?

Students should bring a water bottle, something to write notes on, and are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing that allows for unrestricted movement, as some warm-ups and technical exercises may require floor work or other physical activity.

Students are welcome to voice-record their lessons for individual use, provided they obtain permission from Hannah, but phones should be silenced during lessons.

What styles do you teach?

While musical theatre (contemporary and legit) is Hannah's specialty, she is also comfortable teaching various styles, including pop, country, rock, folk, jazz, and classical. Hannah is a firm believer that the first requirement for repertoire choice should be "does this song make me excited to sing or curious to grow?" If yes to either, perfect!

Can parents watch?

Parents/guardians are welcome to watch the lessons. However, students often come out of their shells and learn more when allowed the independence of an unsupervised lesson. We can always play it by ear and check in with your child's comfort levels on the day.

Do you provide performance opportunities?

Given the growing size of Hannah's Singing Studio, Hannah is looking to hold the first-ever studio concert at the end of 2026! Please flag with Hannah in your lessons if this is something you would be interested in being involved with.

Testimonials

Hannah has truly transformed my confidence when it comes to singing. She takes so much care in catering the lesson to your needs at the time - whether it be audition prep, technique or just singing for fun!

She is patient and always takes the time to explain exercises, so they make sense to you. She listens without judgment and only wants the best for you. Her warm personality and welcoming presence is evident from the start of the lesson, right through to the end, and is a testament to how much she cares about her students.

She has helped me feel stronger and so much more confident in the audition room. Working one on one with someone who is as kind as Hannah, has transformed the way I think of my own voice and my vocal ability. I am very grateful for her & I seriously cannot recommend her enough!
