The following are the Terms and Conditions of taking lessons at Hannah’s Singing Studio. Any student breaching these terms and conditions may be asked to cease lessons immediately.

 

Cancellation Policy:​

• The student must cancel more than 24 hours before the lesson time to avoid charges. Their cancelled lesson will be converted into a one-off open slot to give other students the chance to book. If the student has already paid, this will be converted to a credit on their account. 

• When cancelled within 24 hours of a lesson, the student will be required to pay for the missed lesson. This time will be used for lesson planning and resource development to better student experience.

• If Hannah has cancelled the lesson for any reason, the student will not be charged for the missed lesson. If the student has already paid, this will be converted to a credit on their account.

• Students consistently cancelling lessons at the last minute may be asked to cease lessons with Hannah.

• Students with recurring lessons who cancel for an extended period (4 weeks or more) will relinquish ownership of their reserved lesson time and risk another recurring student claiming said time. 

• Rescheduled lessons may be offered as per Hannah’s availability, but are not guaranteed.

• Refunds are not offered.

Studio Expectations: 

• Make sure to arrive on time for the lesson, not early or late, to avoid disrupting another lesson taking place. Early arrivals will not be facilitated unless previously organised. Late arrivals will result in a shortened lesson time, out of respect for Hannah and subsequent students.

• Lessons must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

• Parents/guardians are welcome to watch the first lesson. After this, lessons will be private to promote independent learning.

• Students must wear comfortable clothing that allows for unrestricted movement, as some warm-ups and technical exercises may require floor work or other physical activity.

• Students are welcome to record their lessons for individual use, provided they obtain verbal permission from Hannah.

• Phones must be silenced during lessons.

• Students must keep any printed lyrics, sheet music or other resources in a folder to bring to every lesson, or bring a tablet with a program such as forScore.

• Students are expected to maintain consistent practice routines of three times a week minimum.
